Hi all... I've looked through a great of this board's older messages, and I searched on the Internet, but I can't seem to find any instructions on converting the PAL v2 DTV to NTSC. Is anyone aware of a set of instructions for this? I've read that it's supposed to be rather difficult or lengthy. Help? :-) I've found all of the "standard" hacks/mods for the DTV.

I believe ExpertSetup did one at one time (search in this forum - however, MadModder said something about old threads are no longer online). If I remember well, he swapped the crystal from a NTSC "Hummer" DTV and a PAL DTV2.

Some relevant threads still seem to exist, must be the broken search feature. Last time this question was asked here, where I pointed out this and this thread. The thread IDs seem to have changed for some reason. Someone please document the PAL<->NTSC procedure in the DTV hacking wiki so we don't have to dig through these old threads anymore  |
