Guys,
Got the chance to get the scoop on the new DTV, and here's a little of what I found out....
PAL/NTSC compatibility! Looks like it be able to support both.
More I/O lines! Can't go in specifics here, but if all goes well, it looks like telbbsing from your DTV won't be a problem, as well as support for those games that didn't work because they used the wrong port.
Amigatype graphics modes! Bliter modes, and expanded support of the existing graphics addon from the first DTV.
Flashram support! IIRC, It looks like the DTV will use 2MB of flashram. Don't like a game, install some new ones.

Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag now then, eh...
Anyone care for a primer on the new features?

When you say "New DTV", do you mean the PAL version that is expected in late June, or is it a totally new DTV, different from both the NTSC and the comming PAL version?

The PAL DTV is actually the new DTV, it's been totally reworked since the first NTSC version. It has some awesome goodies built in, but I'm not saying anything further until someone else does! eheheh

So does anybody know if the new one will be released in the USA in June too, or just in Europe? Does anybody know what retail stores or online stores will be selling it? Any ideas on cost?

will the new unit be packaged differently, or feature the same games in the same packaging?
