This weekend I will begin the process of removing the PC program CMLServ which CML 1.5 currently requires.
Instead, you will use TCPSER4j or TCPSER to connect to a type of 'CML' proxy server and it will do the translation of CML to your 64/128.
For the moment it will still require a connection to the PC to operate, but this will also provide the ability to support VICE connected users using WinVICE 1.15 or later.
More Information as things develop.

OK, as of today, I have a working proxy server for CML. It's not stable enough to publish, but I've successfully send CML information directly to the 64 by way of a TCPSER4j connection.
This should permit the use of Serial/Terminal devices to be plugged directly into the 64. I've stumbled on a good source of cheap serial terminal type devices, hopefully a couple of them will arrive this week for testing.
Move later.

Thanks to JimL bonking me in the head tonight (thanks Jim, I needed that!), I have a copy of CML running under VICE 1.16, no TCPSER client required.
Time to stablize the proxy side...
