If you go in to people connection you just get the red wight and blue back ground. No text. Then it will say your phone line has been broken and when you go to get back on it thinks your all ready on and you can wait a long time to get back on and can't.
I guess they have to reboot the server.

There may be merit in Jim implementing a scheduled, automated reboot of the Q-Link Reloaded server software on a weekly basis. Such a procedure can often eliminate the problems that creep into any system over time and quite possibly help minimize memory usage of the server. When I ran my ISP we were firm believers in a weekly reboot of our shell server to 'clean house'. Doing so saved us a lot of grief in the long run. Uptimitis is a terrible thing to become obsessed with.

I found out Jim was just letting it run to see how long it could last with out a reboot. It was for about 30 days I think.

I was able to do a lookup on ql.quantum-link.org ad I'm able to ping the host so it would appear the problem is with the server-side software. BTW, you would be best off avoiding nslookup as it lies. Use host and if you're really curious, use dig.

Sorry about that. I do tend to use the term nslookup generically although I seldom use it. It can give misleading results hence my suggestion to use host or dig. I should have been more specific.
