is there another program than TCPSER4j-rc6.0 out there?... that do the same thing as TCPSER4j-rc6.0, but dont use java?
i dont want to install jave becouse it suck viruses and other none wantet crap to the pc with windows..

Sure. It's called TCPSER and it is written by the same guy that wrote TCPSER4j. There is also BBS Server which, contrary to what you might assume from the name, does much the same thing and has a nice GUI too. The author of BBS Server frequents these message boards so if you have any problems post about them and there is a good chance he'll answer.

the bbs program did light up(cts,dsr,dcd) when i connected my nullmodem cabel + adaptor to com1 on the pc, so the vic1011a must work.. i did only have the *vic terminal* program on the c64 side, but that dont look like it work with this bbs server... i will try more later...

tcpser will run on Windows as well. Just grab cygwin1.dll
