As the topic states, I have a PlayNet disk somewhere if anyone is interested in looking at it as well to try and gain any knowledge into the workings of Q-link.
If anyone wants it, let me know here and I can archive it and toss it somewhere for consumption.
Lots of good techie geek info here on this board, in the right hands I'm sure a Q-Link server can be accomplished! Good work so far.

That would be very cool!
It would be interesting to see a different version of basically the same system. Perhaps compare which commands qlink added to get an idea as to what is 'needed' versus what is 'nice'

Sorry this took so long to get back to ya.. Had a raid array crash and burn on me among other things.. It also appears that I cannot find my old playnet disk anywhere. I coulda swore I seen it just a couple months ago, but it's nowhere to be found. It's gotta be around here somewhere, and if/when I find it I'll let you know. -P

You can download .D64 of the playnet disk now! Look how long. No one put a .D64 up of them. The last post in 2005 on here! You can download them at: www.c64world.com/playnet/He got them from e-bay and made .D64's of them. -Raymond Day

If anyone has the PlayNET D64 disks, PLEASE send them my way! Any links I've come across are dead ones. I would love to see the old PlayNET graphics again, and, maybe capture them for my website! www.originalplaynet.org

It is a part of a Gamebase database I'm working on, containing as much as possible software that are not games. If you don't have problems with the 126 MB download, you can get it here: www.sendspace.com/file/chyptn

I downloaded the zip file from that site which contains a d64 of the PlayNet disk and two d64's of PlayNet games disks. -Andrew
