I finally got a working XM1541/RS232 Setup working in the "Retroroom" I was a big user of Phoneman back in the eighties. <wink> <wink> and thought I'd try it will the TelBBS setup. I'm using BBS Server for the server side and currently getting "Buffer Open" "Buffer Closed" as various times during the connection.
Anyone remember what controls triggered that in Phoneman? Talk about some really rusty knowledge! Comon Impress me! <smirk>

Sure. Hold down C= and press o to open buffer and hold down C= and press c to close it. The border should flash to indicate a state change. Was this a request for help or a round of trivia? If the latter, what do I win?

Actually, I was fishing for some knowledge a little more obscure.. The buffer seems to be able to be toggled with CHR$ codes. If I can find out which ones are triggering it, I can filter them out.
