Nick Smith, author of All American BBS, has authorized me to release the final versions of his software for both the Commodore 64 and 128, as well as the source code for both versions, to the Public Domain on his behalf. I just converted all the disks to D64's (there are a total of 20!), zipped them, and have posted them for downloading on the Cottonwood BBS website at hometown.aol.com/cottonwoodbbs ... Enjoy! :-) -Andrew

Ok Got it all up and running as far as WinVice with tcpser. Tested with NovaTerm.
So all I really need to know is can I use This bbs system with a option for swiftlink? As far as connection to internet.

As far as connection to internet. Swiftlink emulated in WinVice You'd have to do some reprogramming of the source code to support a Swiftlink or Turbo232 cartridge. I asked Nick Smith about connection speeds on AA BBS, and he said that the fastest speed he programmed it to support was 2400 baud. At the time he wrote the program, that was the fastest speed that was thought to be possible with a C128, and a 2400 baud modem was the fastest modem he owned, so he never tried to program it to run any faster. -Andrew
