Ok guys It was either that title or Fantasia's Return on WinVICE. So easy, a wife could boot it! LOL!

"TCPSER4J: So easy, even your wife can run it!"
I hope you'll forgive me if I don't play up that angle when I recommend it to folks... :-)

Y'know... Over the weekend I was trying to write a batch file to launch tcpser4j and WinVICE for Image BBS 2.0 development... the idea being to attach my work disk, autoboot the BBS, and set up some other stuff (RS232 parameters, etc.)... I've got the script file at home, but it was complaining about the tcpser4j part to begin with. I don't recall the exact error message, just something about an exception in a thread. I'm using EditPad Pro, and have set up a "tool" that captures the standard error and standard output to a file, so it's pretty cinchy to just copy-and-paste that to the forum at some point. I'm running Windows XP Home, SP2... um... I'll bring in the script file tomorrow... *wanders off, all absentmindedly*

Sure, send it out, it can;t be that tough to fix.
I'm working on some mods to tcpser4j for Anthony Tolle, and cleaning up some bad code in there. I have just a bit left, and then I'll put out rc7

Jim: Have you talked to Anthony lately? He seems to have fallen off the Earth and I'm a little concerned.

Can you describe the methods used to implement the BBS with WinVICE?
