As luck would have it...... Just when the caller volume started to pick up, I had some issues with my internet provider, and the BBS was down for a few days. I got everything straightened out, and as of this morning, the BBS is back online! If you get the chance, give it a call.

Here we go again! After being online 24/7 for over 1 1/2 years, it looks like the hard drive on my Lt. Kernal is developing some bad sectors. I'm in the process of trying to recover all of the data onto 1581 disks. So far, it's looking promising. Worst case, I'll restore from a backup I took about a month ago. Just need to find another hard drive mechanism to copy it all back onto. Will post again when it's back up and running........ -Mo

Ok, I think I have everything working again! I salvaged everything that I could off the old hard drive. Looks like the user accounts and messages bases were luckily not on the corrupt sectors. I installed a 105 meg Quantum mechanism and copied the files onto it. Everything should be right it left off. So far, everything seems to be running fine. Please give it a call and help me test it out. ;D
Thanks, -Mo
