I am planning on running a C= BBS. I finally got my home webserver online and was thinking or running a BBS again.
Hardware I can use:
C64, C128 or C128D. All have JiffyDos.(My RR/RR-Net cart. and MMC64 like the C64 better). CMD 2GB HD Ramlink 16meg Ramlink to HD cable 2 1541's 2 1581's 1750 REU Swiftlink Aprotek RS-232 Interface
I used to run a BBS back in the day with All American and also used UCBBS, Color 64, C*Base, Image.
Which is my best choice now with my hardware options and being networked to other BBS's?

Yikes! You've certainly got enough hardware to put up a BBS, or two Software wise, I'm rather partial to Color 64 v8.x. It's being actively developed and the guy doing the work, Anthony Tolle, is a regular in these forums which means you'll be able to get answers to any questions that pop up. That being said, the best thing to do is to grab a few different programs from Bo Zimmerman's fantastic BBS software archive (it's at zimmers.net/bbs/index.html) and see which one 'feels' right. You can also grab a copy of the BBS list and login to a few boards to get a feel for how different software works from the user end of things. Please let me know when you put up your board and I'll add it to the list.

I think you should run Centipede if you have a 128. 80 columns, it's more powerful, easy to use, fast etc etc.
But as mentioned, Anthony Tolle is currently developing and supporting Color 64 V8.X.
