I did get it ti work via DR.Videos help! Whats interesting is that I have still not built an adapter. My setup is
Commodore - t232 - db9 serial to db9 (radio shack) null modem adapter with pin 6 ripped out. to the PC.
The board works great, no more logon/logoff freeze and or issues.
I know it sounds crazy, but Im attpempting to up the speed from 38400. PRobably will not work. But we're going to give it a shot. For all intents and purposes the board is up and running (when Im not testing)

Ok so that I understand you correctly, you ripped pin 6 out of the Radio Shack null modem adapter. Now, I am assuming your COMM port on the PC requires a female interface, so the MALE side of the adapter must be plugged into the female end of your serial cable?
So it sounds like to have a DB9F to DB9F straight serial cable, right?
You got a part # for the RS null adapter?
Let us know if this hardware setup works well with Novaterm (no funny kicking needed to get novaterm working, etc)

I'll get the part number as soon as Im done testing this 115200 business. I really think I have it running that fast. I need some people to come and prove me wrong, hehe.
The com port on the pc is a male, the serial cable is a female. plugged into the male side of the rs null modem adapter.
