Had some time over the holidays to work on it. Get it here: www.jammingsignal.com/files/ New features: - Delete now works when typing ATDT... (I trust this one will be popular!)
- The PC's IP address is given is reponse to ATI. Useful if you're using DHCP.
- It tries to 'intelligently' detect whether you're using an ASCII/ANSI or PETSCII terminal, and changes the case of response strings accordingly, sO tHEY doN'T lOOK lIKE tHIS.
- If a call is taking a long time to connect after ATDT, you can hit any key to abort.
- ATE is supported.
- A/ is supported.
- New command ATU. Useful if you're using BBS Server on a headless setup (no monitor/keyboard/mouse). ATU1 shuts down Windows, ATU2 only exits BBS Server. This isn't a standard Hayes command, so it shouldn't ever be sent accidentally.
- Plays WAVs when callers connect and disconnect. I found Trillian comes with lots of good sounds for this.
- Reorganized the code a bit, using a "virtual modem" object type to keep things organized.
- Minor bugfixes.
- 18-page manual describing every aspect of the software.
Source included, as always.

Limitations in this version:
You still can't concatenate AT commands.
No hardware flow control. I only have a 2400 baud user port interface, so I can't test the higher baud rates.

So a BBS system on the c64 side sending a big modem init string is a going to cause a problem right? It won't cause any problems, but only the first command after the "AT" will be acted on. BBS Server will simply respond "OK" to the entire string.
