Show #117, the Texas Instruments Compact Computer 40, is posted to the podcast site.
It's a fun little computer!

I did just listen new episoide at train. It did start nice, but then 3x about 40-50 years old women did come in.. I tryed so hard hear Earl.. Turn volume up.. And still those voices keep coming.. It was difficult listen when you try choise same time a) STFU! b) Choke them with your earphones.. ;D Option b) wouldnt work, course my earphones were not long enought.. Hey.. I didnt try.. Trust me.. After those painful 24minutes with Retrobits.. I moved to C64 Remixes.. Then I could only hear C64 music.. Crazy idea.. Maybe Earl could sing one episoide or make Special Train version with double speed, then there wouldnt be those short spaces between words and no background voices of other people Episoide (I mean RetroBits episoide ) was nice. Hope we got more soon. Maybe next time something bigger and longer ;D

I am always mystified as to what real use one of these small computers is. The screen is tiny so coding on it will be fiddly and to usefully display anything will be hard. To me they look like glorified graphical calculators.
Did anyone here ever actually use one regularly back in the day?
