Hello, Have a look at this thread : forum.cmdrkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=405Then if I can't find a file manager fulfilling my needs, I might start a project to make one. This one would be in compiled BASIC V2. I know asm but I became lazy those months ;D And nothing prevents me to call some asm subroutines for particular tasks. Do you think this BASIC V2 project is feasible ?

Yeah, I think so... doing the "launch" without ML would be quite tricky (impossible?), but otherwise, it sounds fine for BASIC.
Jeff Jones of Loadstar had done a lot of nice work with drives, all CMD compatible. I think "FileMaster" from Loadstar #176 might be similar to what you want, though I can't make sure right now. For the $20 or whatever that Loadstar Compleat sells for, it's worth checking out.

Possible! Most can be done with BASIC, and doesn't really need to be compiled -- actually, I think it is better not. Just use some good toolbox modules to smooth it out. You can get good results with Mr.Mouse -- which has scrolling menu capabilities plus lots of other stuff. Check it out in the SSoCC Vault at c64.eloadstar.com/ssocc/Also, DotBASIC Plus will be available soon. I will gladly give you a copy to test. The only ML you really need is the copier sequence. I will look for one I have around here. Dave
