I came across this today and thought some of you might find it as amusing as I did. A guy built, get this, a mechanical version of Pong. Well, there is something you don't see every day!
Wonder how long it took to build. It looked very well constructed, and the "pong" ball moved pretty smoothly during the gameplay.
Guess it's easier than making a mechanical version of, for instance, VisiCalc. :-)

I heard one of the guys from this website www.blinkenlights.de/talking about playing pong on a skyscraper using the lights inside. They are going to Manhattan soon and are looking for someone to volunteer use of a building's lights to do some displays.
