What does the help-key do on the Amiga 500? Why does my A1000 not have one? I wanted a help key for the intro of my videos from now on.. I've used it in 3 videos so far but only one of those has reached completion and is now online here: www.my-pc-help.com/video/v10026.htmNotice the shot is from my Amiga 500. The only other computer I had in the house that has a help key is my Commodore Plus/4, but the shape and color of the keys weren't suitable for the intro. In a few days I've going to have another video online which will have some hidden Commodore secrets too.. of course, just like with the Help key, the general public will have no idea.

As far as I remember, the Amiga help key was just application-specific. I can only remember using it in one program I had.

What does the help-key do on the Amiga 500? Whatever a programmer wants it to do. The intended use was that it would bring up a help viewer with information on the program being run but was seldom used. Look again, above the cursor keys.

You are right.. how in the world did I not see that? I looked all over that keyboard for a help key and didn't see it.
