hi everyone,
i just started to mod my dtv and i got a broken psion series V. so my question is: has anyone tried to modify a psion series V keyboard to use it for the dtv?

Well, unless the keyboard has a PS/2 Port, I would say no... I believe the Psion V uses a proprietary serial (rs-232) type connection. The Psion V I am talking about is the small PDA Keyboard. You might be able to program a microcontroller to convert the signals, but way too many hours later and lots of wasted time, you should probably just get a cheap keyboard...

Come on, where's that "can do" attitude? Actually, it is a tricky task to interface a keyboard that uses a different protocol. To get the my PDA keyboard hack working, I had to use an oscilloscope to decode all the signals then program a microcontroller to translate from one protocol to another.
