got me a 1541 today (Rev A. ASSY 250442)
red LED on, green LED on, disc is turning, but nothing else....
how to troubleshoot such a device??

CR1 is rather hot, CR3 bit colder then CR1(but still hot)
over CR2 there is 5,7V and over CR4 there is 2,5V
what to replace?
i have a few spare 1541....

now i replacet the CR1 and CR3
and the green LED is on, no red LED no disc spinning
i have no V over CR2 and CR4 has 4,3V

yes, i read it before i posted here, it lead to believe that the problen could be the CR1/CR3 thing... i now have the red and green LED on, and no spin on the disc... i have to measure (and read) at bit more....
