Yeah.. I'm familiar with the XT series of Commodore PCs, but I was unaware they made a 286. It is funny looking seeing a 286 displayed on a flat-screen LCD monitor!

Commodore slapped their name onto all kinds of computers in a futile attempt at staving off bankruptcy. They did a couple of notebook computers too (see here.) I had a 286LT at one point. It wasn't anything special.

Oh my god! I recognize each and every one of those computers on that page. I worked in the laptop department at AST computer in the 1990's and most of their systems were made by 3rd party manufacturers. I recognize machines in those pictures that were made by TI, Quanta, and AST too! I can tell you what other brands and models each of those were sold under. But I never knew they were sold as Commodore units!
