Hi, I tried to add a floppy to my DTV. So I connected the "clk", "data" and "atn" pins to an IEC Port Connector...and also a ground line. But I always get only a "DEVICE NOT PRESENT ERROR" (with a 1541 connected and load"$",8)
But if I make a DTV-reset, also the floppy makes a reset (so, there is at least one connect working...)
any idea why???
Does it matter which ground line I am using?

Ahhh....I have found the problem... Used the wrong connection for the atn line... (have used the reset line...that explained the reset on the floppy....)

Yeah, that should have been a dead give-away since the DTV doesn't use the reset line at all. I've wondered if there will ever arise a problem from that. Like maybe some software uses the reset to reset the drive or something.. Truthfully, I'm not even sure if you can hit the reset line through software now that I think about it.
