Quite a few of us have accounts but Q-Link was down for sometime and the DNS isn't back online so not everyone knows it's back online. You'll just have to give it time. A good time to check in would be Saturday at 9pm (EST). Some people choose to access the c64friends chat through Q-Link so there might be more people around with whom you can interact.

I signed in, but still nobody lol. I haven't logged into Q-Link since it first went on-line. It was cool for about the first month but then the novelty wore off. Have there been any significant additions over the past year?

<rant>Q-Link is not a novelty.</rant>
<useful suggestion>Q-Link lived off of it's userbase. The core system is essentially complete and now needs to be 'lived in'. Wandering off for a year is not the best way to help a userbase build. That said, I've not been there in a year either.</useful suggestion>

Q-Link lived off of it's userbase. I don't think there's a sufficient user base these days to provide a consistent level of activity.

Then, in answer to your question, no, there is nothing new. There is no userbase to make new things, so there will be nothing new.

Well, what sort of 'new things' are you asking for?
New features? There will not be any more for a LONG time, as we are currently exploiting almost all the features of the base package. The next feature would be a MAJOR undertaking, such as RabbitJack's or SuperQ/Puzzler. Jim and I are probably too busy for either of those things.
New content? Content ought to be created by users. I admit, there are only a few message bases active, but they are there.

Jim and I are probably too busy for either of those things. Have you or Jim ever considered "opening up" Q-Link? Maybe freely distributing the source code? I'm sure this would motivate people to help develop modules like RabbitJack or SuperQ/Puzzler. Content ought to be created by users. This will happen only if users feel like they are "stakeholders" in the respective project.

I understand completey what your saying its a major undertaking what you guys have done and accomplished. Aside from the extras RJ's and Club Caribe the one thing i was hearing the most was the File Uploads/Downloads areas there was a userbase for that in the early part of Qlink Reloadeds start be nice to Up or Download natively files to the C=. But since time has passed I dont know if the interest is still there or not or how much of a task it would be to have that feature realized
