I'd love to connect to Q-link but I only have a Turbo232. If I had a 1581 I could use Raymond's d81 with the Turbo232 patch, but I only have 1541s. Does anyone have a d64 patched for Turbo232?
Or is it possible to use 64HDD?
The best option would be a direct ethernet connection with RetroReplay/RR-net. Someone seems to be working on that, IIRC. Right?

I just put up a new Q-Link Version 4 disk that is all ready patched to do 2400 baud and swift link that is addressed at $DE00. It's just like a new disk. You will have to run the setup to log in the first time. mywebpages.comcast.net/raymondday/q-link/QV4SL2400.zipI think if you use VICE you will have to run tcpser4j first. Hope this helps. I also have a file called "qlinkv4t232.d64" that should be what you want. I can't remember where I got it from. I think I got it from the "Files Section" here, seems to be broken now. If you need, I can email you the "qlinkv4t232.d64" file, just pm me with an email address.Sincerely, Jeffery S. Stone P.S. I can give you instructions on how to stop the border from changing colors if it bothers you (or if it hasn't been fixed already)

I tried to connect yesterday. Everything went smoothly - for a while. Twice I got as far as entering the state/province before losing the connection. After that, I wasn't able to connect at all. Don't know if the problem is with my setup or with Q-Link.
I'll post the output from tcpserv as soon as I have time.

Problem solved. It was only getty that got in the way.
