Leif,
I notice that while online, sometimes the BBS starts accepting input from a new connection. I connected to the BBS, then was editing some news bulletins when I lost control of the keyboard. Someone had gotten through to the bbs somehow. First time that has happened.
If I place BBS Server in shutdown mode, some times it starts accepting calls after a while.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this during tonights onslaught of activity?
I can't believe how many dropped calls I got tonight, people just hangup all over the place. I saw Centipede go into "Hacker discourager" mode several times where it locked calls out for 3 mins or so. Strange.

What version of BBS Server are you using?
Can you send me the section of the c64bbslog.txt file from when this happened?

My log is so huge, due to the slashdot effect. I'll see if I can find it...

I've noticed that bbs server goes out of shutdown mode when the bbs resets and sends out the modem command.
Still working pretty good!

I've noticed that bbs server goes out of shutdown mode when the bbs resets and sends out the modem command. This bug was fixed in version 1.0 RC1. That's why I asked Microman what version he was using.
