If I trace the leads from th "1"-key to the circuit in a new cheap $10 keyboard, rip the circuit out, and connects it inside the DTV and solder the UP-lead from a joystick to where the "1" is decoded, the missing JoyB0 should now not be a problem anymore.
The question is, can I after this hack still connect another PS/2 keyboard to the DTV and have both PS/2 circuits function in parallel?

What about an I-pac keyboard encoder. I got one in my mame machine and I know the ps/2 one is programmable and has the ps/2 pass through. You program it in windows and It retains it's memory. I think its arcadecontrols.com or something. ;D

It's nothing wrong with the 4066 solution, but if I want to use my favourite not-so-cheap keyboard? Or if I don't want to have a keyboard attached at all sometimes, but still want a second Joystick?
I guess I just have to try two chips in parallel then...
