If you ask nicely, folks like me are buying units and sending overseas.
Actual costs charged, but if you really want one...
Airmail seems to be running $22USD for up to 4 units.

I heard the PAL release will be End of 2005. That`s a long time and I don`t want to pay 30 pounds or more to get it now Best Regards, Roger

Just wanted to point out that the DTV currently on sale in Europe is an import of the NTSC version, so you'll need a TV that can handle NTSC video. And, you'll have to mentally prepare yourself to witness games/music running at 60hz instead of 50hz

And, you'll have to mentally prepare yourself to witness games/music running at 60hz instead of 50hz Of course it's NTSC they also point that out at the webshops. But that's really not a problem these days. All newer TV's and other monitor stuff can handle at least both PAL and NTSC at the video-in. Poor french people and their Secam stuff And, in europe NTSC -> PAL60 converters are very common. When you give a most PAL-only TVs an NTSC signal it's displayed properly in B&W but with some "moire" (due to the NTSC-color encoding I guess). Only a few brands are having problem with 60 Hz and fewer lines. PAL60 is essentially a NTSC signal with PAL color encoding. Confused? But hey, real retrofreaks want to buy both ;D Also I've heard rumours about the PAL version having different games so that's another reason to get both... Seems like I have to buy at least 3 then. One NTSC, one PAL and then one whichever is best to hack -Tilt

Also I've heard rumours about the PAL version having different games so that's another reason to get both... It'll have *some* different games - many will be the same.
