I just got my XE1541 adaptor finnished. What a beauty... ;D Hot glue is the sh*t! madmodders.se/temp/XE-1541.jpgI'm using an old P133 laptop with a broken LCD with Win98 on, configured to boot directly into DOS and start 64HDD. Works like a charm. There's room for aprox. 5k D64 images on the free 900MB. Should be enough...

Very nice. I gave up on 64HDD myself because there was no way to manage the files from the C64 side. Although there's a new tool for this: people.freenet.de/hannenz/homegrown.htm (about halfway down) Also, I love your new avatar. One other thing, do you have stairs in your house?

Ha! That's funny. I love the geeky utilitarianess (to make up a word) of it. Of course, in Canada we would use duct tape for that sort of thing.

Thanks. One other thing, do you have stairs in your house? Yes, I live on third floor. No elevator. BTW, is it x-file you mean? I wonder if I move a file from device #8 (C:\) to #9 (D:\) will the file take the way through the C64?
