Style announces the release of "Turbo Macro Pro+DTV v1.0/Style", a powerful new version of our ruling Turbo Assembler mod series, at: www.style64.org TMP+DTV takes advantage of the 64k extra hi-mem in the DTV to enable a rapid code-test-code cycle with nearly full use of the DTV's c64-mem by swapping banks. Load object files and assemble directly to the hi-mem, start your project, then return back to the editor+source which was safely preserved in hi-mem. Code like you mean it - on the metal! TMP+DTV: A little bit of Style in the palm of your hand (ewwww). Although many people prefer cross-assing these days, you may still appreciate the ease of exploring new DTV features in TMP - give it a try. Docs are included on the .D64 (seq) and in the download zip (ascii). If you're already an old ally of TASS, then welcome your new best friend inside the joystick There is also a small example source file, which is unexciting visually, but does test several DMA actions (exempting modulo). Mainly to help myself learn the possible DMA functions, it may be useful, though Six has preprended us... Bug reports or feedback to: elwix@style64.org

When I download the ziped file and try to un zip it it will say error "The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invald or corrupted." I guess I have to unzip it on a commodore 64? If so what program do I use?

Someone else had a problem too a couple days ago but on downloading again said it worked. The filesize should be 69110 (actual bytes, not size on disk). I did try changing a server setting that I thought could possibly make an effect on dl'd zips, maybe for some browsers...
Please try again, email me if it fails (elwix@style64.org), we'll get it to you one way or the other!
Thanks

This is very cool. I used TMP+REU as my main development environment for a couple of years, and it really is one of the most convenient ones out there. You can use all 64k, and if your code crashes your sources are safe and can be restored.

I used a Linux PC and saved it over the windows PC download. It unziped then using the same winzip program. I guess something is wrong with the way windows downloads it.

Style announces the release of "Turbo Macro Pro+DTV v1.0a/Style", a bugfix for the previous version, at: www.style64.org v1.0 had a rather bad problem w/ potential of corrupted source, which is now fixed, among some other minor changes. TMP+DTV takes advantage of the 64k extra hi-mem in the DTV to enable a rapid code-test-code cycle with nearly full use of the DTV's c64-mem by swapping banks. Load object files and assemble directly to the hi-mem, start your project, then return back to the editor+source which was safely preserved in hi-mem.. This makes TMP particularly suitable for quick exploration of DTV capabilities, coding small to medium sized utilities, games. or demos, etc. In fact we use TMP to code for TMP itself. It is probably not suited for "professional level" large scale applications such as GEOS-on-your-DTV Bug reports or feedback and feature requests to: elwix@style64.org
