thedarkside.ath.cx/dtv/ports.htmlIt explains how I hooked up power, keyboard, serial, with pictures and pinouts of all possible connectors. If you have better ways, please advise so I can include them in the document.

I went to your web page. Good job! I wish I had this type of info. when I did mine. The only info. I could find was photos. No text telling how to do it. Well the text is lable good on the board. That's how I mostly done it.

Cool, that was very helpful. I've done mine a little differently from most, but I'm still not sure if it will work. What I did was tear apart two old DB9 to PS2 adapters (the kind that would let dual mode mice work either in an RS-232 port or a PS2 port) to get the PS2 jacks. I melted holes in the back of the bottom piece just big enough for them to come out flush. One is for the keyboard, the other for IEC (I'll need to make a PS2 to IEC cable, but that's not a big deal). These are superglued in place, so I just have two flush jacks. Then I took a switch type 1/8" mono jack and wired it so when the plug is disconnected, the batteries power the unit, but when connected, the batteries are switched out and the wall wart will power it. The power arrangement works fine, but the wall wart I have doesn't have enough voltage (only 4.5VDC) to power the keyboard. Also, if anyone else does this, I wouldn't recommend plugging in the plug while the unit is on. I'll have to get another wall wart that is 5V and probably at least 350ma, or if I can't find one, use one of the many 9VDC ones I have and add a regulator to get the 5V needed for the keyboard.
I went this route so I could completely detach everything and have a normal DTV without having wires hung all over it.

In fact, I might see if I can hook up both an AT and PS/2 connection. Likely use one kb at a time though. Not sure how hooking up two would do but it shouldn't effect things too much. I wonder how the kb in the C= PC-10 will do. Since it is a "Commodore" keyboard.

Isn't the PC-10 an XT?
If it's an AT keyboard, it should work...
(Although I heard Brain at the show muttering about timming cycles of different keyboards....)

You have "Adding ports and power to the C64 DTV"
Should it be something like this?:
Adding keyboard and serial ports to the C64 DTV

I posted in c.s.c. about adding power. Look there, or copy it here. XT keyboards will not work. They have a different protocol.
