I'm testing a simple handshaking method between CML and CMLServ. It looks like a keeper! It eliminates the need for (D)elay settings and for broadband users, CML now operates even faster, yet it waits correctly for slower connections. It will require all to re-download both sides on the next release. After a little more testing, I'll release it sometime this week. I've had a lot of problems with the current revision of CHAT for CML, so I've desided to scrap it, and rewrite it as a seperate module. As a result, it may not be functional in the next release. With the fork of CMLink from CML there is now twice as much to do.

Great to hear the news! I look forward to downloading the new version and giving it a spin! You said that you may have to replace the CHAT feature, what do you intend to use in its place? DV

I'm going to re-write the chat routines, but I've got an idea I'm working on first. I thought it might be cool if CML hyperlinks might be able to trigger browser windows so that petscii text could be read on the C= side, and the images would pop up on the PC side.

Is V1.3b still the current version? Thats what I just d/l and it seems to work very well.
The loading issues from the previous versions seems to be taken care of
Keep up the great work!
