Hi, the cml project sounds very interesting! but I can'tget it working: I am running cmlserv 1.3 on a winXP machine with nullmodem on COM1 to Userport-RS232 Interface (tried different types) and 64browser running. On URL request CML server reports "fetch URL..." then "send character 1 to 5) and then hangs up. What's the problem? The local connection PC-C64 works fine under BBS Server and Hyperterminal...?! Nevertheless since you seeked for help in ml coding i would be glad if i could supprot you with some ml codes, i think i am pretty sklilled in ml by now and (more or less) familliar with the Kernal RS232 Routines... Send me an email at hannenz@freenet.de, if you'd like me to contribute. P.S.: As soon as i got a little bit of spare time i will write some cml-pages for my homepage at people.freenet.de/hannenz (german)

it's me again:
i worked out that, while runing hyperterminal at 1200 baud i can enter the CML codes like ^Sxx etc. and they are transfered properly to the C64 as well as any ascii chars, and are interoreted by 64browser correctly. On URL request hyperterminal receives
#www.url.com
so the connection is absolutely ok. The problem must be with cmlserv...?!

We've had some timing issues.... (primarly with dialup users) It's something I'm correcting in the current version..
What type of internet connection are you using?
