The service has migrated to ltshosting.net ( 66.135.38.238) port 5190. I left a stub service on the old IP to direct people to the new IP. Please update configs. Many thanks to Mark Ponter and associates at Legend Tech for hosting the service. Also, thanks to Jeff Legder for hosting the web site.
As well, now that my servers are no longer in the line of fire, Jeff, can you submit to /.? :-)

Oh, and Jeff, can you update ql.quantum-link.org to point to that IP?

Slashdot. Well, this certainly presents a milestone to Q-Link. Seeing it go up on /. is akin to a young comedian going onto the Tonight Show. It will be interesting to see how well it holds up, and how the usage will soar going forward. In all respects, my hat is tipped to everyone involved, including The Brain himself.
great job guys!

Probably should replace the link on the home page going to the pics with a Coral Cache or MirrorDot link, as I am not completely sure my commercial hosting can handle the load.

Since there a number of users taking advantage of pre-packaged solutions like TheA1ien's VICE disk, etc., I have changed the original IP to redirect to the new IP address for the next few days.

I seen this. You get on the old IP and it's a good message saying:
"WELCOME TO Q-LINK, null
This server is no longer operational. The service has been migrated to IP address 66.135.38.238:5190. Please update your configuration. The server will now disconnect."
So if people found Slashdot get on they should get this little text. I guess Jim's cable modem can handle it maybe.

Jim Not sure if we can force mirrordot into a cache... I'll remove the link when/if it gets /.ed.. Can anyone mirror Jim's images? ? Jeff

This pre-setup configuration should be changed to the text-based URL rather than the IP addy. That way, we don't have to change stuff when the server moves...
