I got on with my commodore 64C. I have both a LanTronix UDS-100 and UDS-10. I am on my 128 now with the UDS-100 and a RS232 I made. I am all so on at the same time with my commodore 64c and a 1581 Q-Link boot disk that I last used when I was on Q-Link. I set the UDS-10 to auto start so it just got on 12.217.178.211:5190 when I plug the power in to it. I turn on the C=64 and boot up the 1581 Q-Link disk then just pressed F1 and in a little bit I got on. When I 1st did this I went in people connection but it never showed the 2 faces. It just did the screen all one color then and nothing else but the border flashing some. This 2400 baud flashes the boarder when talking to from Q-Link. It was like a test to see how it worked. It works good. When I restarted it went in people connection then. But I don't remember this before it goes there this 1581 says people connection or SuperQ. I did people connection. I am not sure if SuperQ will work. I my load it to try that out. I can now get on 3 times. With 2 real C= and VICE. I will to night if 23 people do not show up. I can at lest be 3 people This is good news. Now all you need is a Turbo232 or swift link and a Lantronix UDS-10. The UDS-10 cost about $100 new. But I guess some times you can find then on ebay for about $40 or so. You will need the 2400 baud patch too and I posted this link on another message here.

I'm kind of wondering why you can't just use the patch for t232 support, then use the null-cable from t232 to pc, run tcpser on the pc and then be able to connect to Qlink on the 64.
So far, I can do this with tcpser, but I get stuck at the new user name setup screen. It will get up to the point of saying the name can be up to 10 characters (although the last part it shows is the "10"). After that, the border flashes a few times and then just sits there. I tried to type in a name anyway, but I am assuming it is waiting for a response from the server that it's just not getting or something like that.
Also, I tried to use tcpserj to do this, and it just craps out on me (tcpserj does).
I also sometimes have to reboot and reload a few times, due to lockups on the NMI screen flashes sometimes...so maybe at some point someone can look at the patches and try to correct this...obviously abit buggy.

Ok, it seems that other than the NMI lockup problem, the new user signup was/is just a problem on the server end. I tried to create another new user account in winvice using another copy of the same original disk image, but got the same problem. However I can sign on with the existing account right now.
However, I did copy the activated qlink disk image over to the 128D (and added the 2400 baud patch) and was able to sign on and enter People Connection.
I also noticed that although the SuperQ patch is installed to the disk image, when I run the image on Winvice and press F1 on the main menu, I just go into People Connection. However when I do the same on the 128D it gives me a 2nd menu to choose if I want to load People Connection or SuperQ. So I guess there is something it doesn't like about Winvice...I dunno.
