QLink supports a gateway destination as the endpoint for a menu item in the non-chat areas. I implemented that tonight, finding a whole host of bugs along the way. To stress test, I gatewayed to a UNIX shell and run IRC from there, effectively bridging the QLink client to IRC, although not neatly integrated like into People Connection. The sheer amount fo intro text that IRC servers send overwhelmed my packet implementation for a while, but I believe I've squashed most of the bugs. A few of us were able to chat via IRC on QLink. We also set up a menu that telnetted to Leif Bloomsquist's telnet BBS. That was interesting. QLink to PC to Internet to PC to BBS.

That explains a few things! I thought someone was hacking in because of all the repeated IP addresses ;-)
I hope you weren't using my BBS for tests on Friday or Saturday, the storm took out my phone line and DSL. It's up again now though.

We did bridge to your BBS a few times :-) on Saturday night. Worked fine for us.
