The GUI was for the C/C++ (whatever it is) version, actually.

I have been learning a tiny bit about XML thanks to a book from my aunt. She recently left Alaska Airlines after 25 years of service, took an early retirement (read: given a severance package which included the option of going to college). So what does she pick? Web design! She didn't like the instructor; he didn't instruct. Some 30 year old kid who had no people skills and said "Well, I'm not going to teach the class, you learn from each other." Sigh. My poor aunt is trying to learn M$ Apps, Windows Vista, and web design ALL AT THE SAME TIME. But she happily loaned me the book. I might use some tips and tricks to fix up our church web site (http://www.trysbc.org) So I can peek at the XML and "get it" more than I did before. And the GUI idea was more for people who _like_ GUIs. Me, I can go either way. Command line offers quicker/more functionality than clicking buttons. Want to specify a disk image to attach to VICE, and your RS232 options? Can't with a GUI, at least under X, not easily anyway. Click, click, click, click... erm... Or a nice little command line (which escapes me at the moment)... x64 -attach <diskimage> -rsdev <blah blah blah> chmod +x, et voila. ~ Pina
