I thought I recorded my self long ago on Q-Link. I think I used a VCR with Stereo and I know I had S/video to my commodore monitor and must of did composit in the VCR with one side the commodore sound and the other a mic so you can hear me typing.
I did it from log on to log off. It's about 26 min long and 254 MB in size when I put it on the computer in .AVI format.
I look at a message of mine then download some GEOS programs on a 1581 disk. Go in the music room and play music and type a little but you can see the other typing a lot.
I get off line and look at some pictures I downloaded form Q-Link.
I wish I could of found this when Jim was working on Q-Link reloaded. All I had on it was comcorder. But this time I put on it Q-Link. I was not even looking for this one and found it.
If any one wants it e-mail me.
It was about Septemer of 1989.

The video is back in Sep of 1989. It's a good one. Must be rair too. Because how Jim was asking for that when he was making Q-Link reloaded and hardly got any videos of it.
So 1989 to 2010 that is 21 years! Yes Robert you can post it on Blip.tv so all can see it. I could only think of youtube but it only lets you do up to 10 min.
I think it will be very nice for people to see this now today. I think back then PC were big you know with the big power switchs. So this was just better back at that time then a PC back then. They could not got on line like this Q-Link.
You can tell in this video how it's slow 1200 boud.

Can't put a video on here but can a Photo Attachment of the video. This photo is of me asking for help back then "1 megabyte C64" I did get that working on my flat 128 back then. That's how I copied the real Q-Link data to that RAM. That is what help Jim a lot with Q-Link Reloaded. Wow it's so bad that they must of deleted all that message data. You can see some of it on the video at lest. -Raymond Day Attachments:
