Now I realize, especially being a UNIX guy, the master C would have a lot of value.
So, I was thinking either mastering C, or learning maybe Fortran or Fourth.
What are everyones favorite Old Language ( that may or may not be in use today )?
Well, You asked. 6510 op code is where I'm setting now.
BECAUSE: ..... I've always been hooked on assembly language since the old TRS 80 days. Just happen to have the C64 and C 128's to play with that have those great manuals and aren't that complex as the Intel x86 stuff.
I do have an IBM thinkpad with the borland Turbo C loaded on it.
And it ( think pad)also does Quick basic.
I'm just in a holding pattern..... as far as doing some thing. ;D
Z80a assembly for me. Assembly on a Zilog Z80 can be beautiful. Compared to other 8 bit systems the Z80 based systems generally didn't have the best graphics, but using assembly they were the number crunchers of the day.
