Wow, yeah, hope it went well for them. I'm just about 7 hours from Vancouver B.C. Would have loved to have been there too... :-)

whoa missed this.. i wasn't doing anything much last weekend and I am only 20minutes away. I haven't been to this place for long time so I could never know about the auction. This is the place where I bought a dozen floppy drive for $1-$2 a piece which are the ones you can convert to replace the Amiga drives. So just kept these drives for future spares.
I normally drop by and help strip old computers and get the ones I like with discounts. Mostly are PC and Mac. They have some vintage which at that time they were not selling. I'll call tomorrow if they still have some left

I dropped in at Free Geek today and found out that they still have some of the stuff pictured in the link. They still have the Amiga 1000,3000 and few 500. They also have the PET and the nice (1 only - ) looking "brown or beige - funny or shall I say futuristic" PET. Was that the "B" series???
However they want $$hundreds and the guy starts talking about Ebay prices so I just didn't pay attention after that.
However, i picked up a box for $15(1 non-working C64c and 2-1541-ii). The drives works (supposedly) but the C64c has no video. I will take my chances and try to make it work --
They have lots of MACs and ATARI STs too. They said there is an Amiga1200 coming soon..so I'll see if this is one that is within my budget.
