Hi everyone, I've purchased my air fare and rental car, now I need a hotel room. Anyone else going? Anyone want to share a room? I emailed Evan Koblentz about this, and he said - << There is no official show hotel this year. My advice is to book any name-brand chain in the area. Days Inn, Red Roof, Residence Inn, etc. are all nearby to our venue (2201 Marconi Rd., Wall, N.J., 07719.) >> I'm also building Vince Briel's PockeTerm device in his workshop. - David I've also posted this in the RetroMacCast forums - retromaccast.ning.com/forum/categories/1672786:Category:51/listForCategory

Me! Evan offered me a free cot in the former officer's quarters in the place. When I was at VCF East back in 2007, the cheapest name-brand chain in the area was EconoLodge, just a few miles away from Wall, N.J.. Truly, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group videocam.net.au/fcug

Um, no one else is going? Well, OK. I did get a room, and a decent deal at about $70 a night. I'm still up to making it a room with two beds and sharing to save $$$!
Earl, you're not flying out to New Jersey?! Best, David

Um, no one else is going? Well, Wall, NJ is not centrally located; in other words, it's not a place where most people would pass through. Heh, I might need a room for one night, just in case I can't stay in the officer's quarters a second night. Hi Robert, you know, I'm sorry, I guess I didn't think your first post was serious. You're really staying in the officer's quarters? Well, if you would like to share my room, please just let me know ASAP. Are you going to be there Friday night to set up? And get your free t-shirt? Best, David

...I guess I didn't think your first post was serious. I'm always serious with a tinge of humor. I'll send you a private e-mail. Well, if I'm coming from 3,000 miles away, I'd better get a free t-shirt!
