I am looking to record some audio on an old retro computer, preferably emulated.
Is there a way that I can hook a mic up to my PC and do it using MinivMac?
I tried with Windows 3.1 which I got to play sound but Sound Recorder did not work properly and was limited to 60 seconds anyway.

Hmm, I'm not sure if this would work.
Looking into the docs, I can only see a chapter referring to playing sounds.
I assume that you would need some additional (emulated) hardware sampler to record audio on a classic Mac.

Thanks, I thought as much, I know you need extra "hardware" to do it on Amiga but I thought the Apple might be different. Oh well.
