BTW, do any of the PCB layout programs have a library with Commodore MOS/CSG chips? I tried Eagle today but it doesn't include one for Commodore.

Check their download page. They have libraries for download:

There is one called 65xxx.lbr. It doesn't have MOS Tech chips, but it does have the 65c02. It could be used as a base template for the other 6500 series chips. But it's not too hard to create libraries in Eagle.

As I understand it, Mr Brain has done some work in the creation of various CBM parts and submitted it to cbm-hackers a while ago. Perhaps we can get him to dig up a few library files.

If anyone has a created library for the SID chip, please attach it somewhere here. I've been lusting after Shadow's second SID cart, and it looks like an excellent first project.
