Here's some screenshots of my "Propodore" At least the hardware side. I'll grab some additional photos in the morning for screenshots. Yeah.. no screenshots, I just see hardware images.. Anyway, I'm also curious, does the current setup require using the C64 keyboard and picaxe, or can it run from a PS/2 keyboard or other?

PICs after lunch!
The 64 keyboard is wired through a PICAXE chip, which outputs to serial The propeller is configured to read the AT Keyboard at the moment, although that will change by sometime tonight. Figure I'll adapt the code to test for the PC keyboard first, then if it isn't present, take data from the serial connection. It's stupid easy to configure given there's a nice module for serial already written in spin.

Ok, I've added some screen shots to the "Propodoor thread" link above. You'll get an idea of how it looks. (This is the Atari font, sorry I didn't load the CBM font before I started snapping pics)

Hi Jeff,
Pretty impressive hardware. Thanks for sharing us the info...I have been monitoring the progress of your project and now has added another favorite site/forum to look into.
I have read your articles and tutorials....makes me think it over to be a nice startup project after the Season Holidays ...and Spin Studio...I like to have a set of those ....

Thanks for the pics, Jeff...looks great in a C-64 case! I'd love to put something like this together ( this and a Minimig ) except I really don't have a lot of free time these days. Such is life...so it's cool to see what other people are able to do.
