I found this at a thrift shop, Sharp QA-25, a transmissive LCD designed for old-school overhead projectors. Took it home--of course it didn't work. So I opened the case and sure enough, a fuse was bad. Purchase price: $3 USD.
It takes an RGB signal, can be used with cga/ega, apple ][, etc. Here it's hooked to my C128. The cartridge placed behind it is for scale.
I can certainly be re-packaged--there's a 10''-wide fan it won't need (I don't intend to shove 500 watts of light through it.)
