There's a website/blog called Vintage Computing and Gaming that I've become quite fond of and there's a section called Retro Scan of the Week. For some reason I found this entry to be particularly amusing.

Not only are the Apple //e and monitor too close to the edge, but dad is sporting a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.
Scenario: Dad has a little spaz and spills the OJ. Little sister is startled and jumps out of the way, knocking the Apple //e and Disk II on the floor, followed closely by the TV (pulled down by the video cable). Now the Apple //e sits in pieces, and the bedspread is ruined. All because they couldn't get out of their PJs before they played their next round of Zork II.
The only innocent one here is the older brother, who wonders what is going to happen when Mom gets home...
OK, sorry. I should never post when my blood sugar is low.

OK, sorry. I should never post when my blood sugar is low. You should drink some orange juice. Just don't do it in bed with your favorite 8 bit computer.

You guys are just Kerry'n on too much! ;D I was waiting to see if anyone would mention that the father is 2004 Presidential cadidate John Kerry. I should have linked directly to the picture. I bet nobody would have noticed. Strage stuff.

thanks to the marvels of home working.laptops and wireless broadband access, I can also compute and work in bed! Handy every once in a while!
