Just listened to the last podcast (great as always!) and ashamed to say as a retro enthusiast I had never heard of the IBM PCjr !
This looks like a cool machine and really could have been a big seller if it had been marketed better.
Wireless keyboard??!! very cool, wonder why nobody else picked up on this until a decade or so later?

I worked at Robert Morris College in Carthage, IL from 1988 to 1999. We had a lab of 12 IBM PCjr's along with a small library of cartridges of educational and game software. These had the full stroke (non-chicklet) wired keyboards, single floppy drives and color monitors.
My favorite cartridge was an educational title that showed how volcano's were formed and why they erupted....
These computers were used mainly for word processing using IBM's Display Write 4 software.
My main complaint with these computers were the floppy drives - they went out of alignment easily. I had to replace them often...
