After the day of hacking, my DTV's been acting weird - it goes through spells where it doesn't start up. Just stays at a black screen. Other times though, it's fine. If I flip it on and off a few times when it's in the non-working state, it sometimes starts with a blue border and garbled screen. One idea - There's a big blob of solder at the top edge of X2. What's it there for? Is it supposed to be touching the left pad of C33? home.wanadoo.nl/richard.lagendijk/Foto%27s/COMP-C64-DTV-l.jpg(just left of IEC ATN) Any other ideas?

I'm almost sure the blob is there to ground the case of X2. It looks strange though. Even though the schematic isn't the final one, it seems that one pad of C33 should have contact with ground, anf the other one with L4. I would've replaced that blob with a piece of wire or something. If not for function, at least for the looks ;D
