Guys,
I'm about to release a new version of CML with some major improvements:
Petscii CG/Movies are supported. (served from a standard webserver. *real* petscii webpages )
Common HTML is supported. (For viewing Non/CML pages)
Perl/CML CG chatroom has been created.
64Browser has been refined for smooth/friendly use.
With this next release, CML has made a serious leap toward my orginal intentions for this project. But I need some help.. (I've hit a wall.)
Currently, the project has a successful top speed of 600baud. (slow) I need some ML to communicate a 1200/2400 baud.
The routines do not need to include any carrier detection, etc.
Examples of my current usage are:
GET#2,A$ Get a single character, if none exist then move on. INPUT #2,A$ Wait for an entire line till CR. PRINT #2,A$ Send an entire line to the RS232 port. PRINT #2,A$; Send a single character to the RS232 port.
I'm slowly learning ML, but my coding skills are a long way from the required level. Some help from the ML gods would be appeciated, and proper credit will be given.
Thank You Oldbitcollector
