I feel I had got my moneys worth tho there were months where I would gasp when I saw my qbill Well, that won't be a problem anymore. It's nice to have you here and I'm glad you'll be part of the growth of the new and improved Q-Link. Q-Link, like so many other online services, is just a framework and what gives it life are the people that congregate and form a community. This may sound strange but one thing that I really like about Q-Link is that it requires a person to connect their Commodore to the net or to install and configure VICE and on top of that they have to use a special client. Anyone can quickly and easily browse a website but with Q-Link it takes a bit more effort; one needs to be motivated. That creates a mystique of exclusivity, even if there aren't any restrictions on who can join. It's just that anyone using Q-Link really wants to be there and as a result, there's an inherent tendency to become more close knit. I've observed this same phenomenon on bulletin boards and I figure that the multi-user nature of Q-Link will accelerate the process.
