IBM ThinkPad June 2, 1999 Audio Features for DOS/Windows 3.1

What This Package Does ----------------------- This package provides the audio driver for DOS and Windows 3.1 users.
This package enables or updates the audio function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad 600E - ThinkPad 770X, 770Z
To determine if you have to update the audio driver or not, please refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.
To update the audio driver, please refer to the "Installation Guide" section.

Summary of Changes ----------------- Where: <n.nn> Package version (for example, 1.00 means Version 1.00) (New) New function or enhancement (Fix) Correction to existing function
<2.00> - (New) Support for ThinkPad 770X/770Z/600E.
<2.02> - (Fix) Wave sound problem after suspend/resume
Installation Guide ------------------ < Windows 3.1>
1. Start Windows 3.1. 2. Insert the Audio Features for DOS/Windows 3.1 diskette into the floppy drive. 3. Select "File" -> "Run.." on the Program Manager window. 4. Enter "A:\SETUP.EXE" and click "OK". 5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
The MIDI serial port connector is available when the computer is attached to the Enhanced Port Replicator. The MIDI port capability is disabled as a default, so you need to enable the function with the ThinkPad Features program. You need to install the MPU401 Support Software from the Windows 3.1 Diskette. Select and install the Roland MPU401 device driver in the Control Panel.
< DOS > The DOS' driver is installed automatically when the Windows 3.1's driver is installed by above instructions.

I a think pad close to this - but minus a HD and Batt.
