Is there some kind of ml routine out there that let's you play Stereo Sid Music from Basic? I like to use SIDPLAYER music in a lot of my programs and was wondering if there was someway to play stereo songs from basic.

You mean it is possible to play music in stereo on the C64? Wouldn't you need two SIDs for that?

Yes, and there have also been some stereo SID carts sold commercially in the past. Just a simple plug and play (and listen) for the less do-it-yourself types. These were a surprisingly popular item. As for the original question, sounds like something that Loadstar has probably published in the past. I'm sure next time Dave Moorman is by, he'll have a comment.

And if you don't plan to use the audio input on either of the 6581's, ground pin 26 on both of them. This will result in not having the electronic buzz you otherwise always hear when no sound is output.

No Loadstar hasn't published a Stero Sid player module. Not a formalized module, but very likely they have published "some kind of ml routine" that will play stereo sids in BASIC. It just might be the kind of ml routine that needs a bit of work to extract the player, and find out the appropriate SYSes and possibly write a very simple driver to make it work in BASIC (like, under 20 bytes of code).
